How to Edit an EPS file?


    Step 1:

    (Open Software): Launch Adobe Illustrator by clicking on the AI icon on your LaunchPad, Desktop or selecting it from the Start menu.


    Step 2:

    (Open EPS File): Click "File" and "Open," then navigate to the EPS vector file you want to modify and click “Open” or “Open with Adobe Illustrator”.


    Step 3:

    (Ungroup the .EPS file) - Click the "Selection" tool on the toolbar, then click on the vector image.

    Right-click on the image and select “Ungroup.” Vector images are often made up of multiple groups of shapes so you may have to ungroup the groups a few times.


    Step 4:

    (Edit the image) - If it were any other shape in Adobe Illustrator. Change colors, position, Size, etc. Group the image when you’re done editing it. Select it, right-click, and select “Group”.


    Step 5:

    Change Position.


    Step 6:

    Change Colors by using color wheel option.


    Step 7:

    (Create New Text) - The text in your file has been converted to outlines.You can make the text larger or smaller though, and even change its color. Now delete the template text and replace it with our own message using the Type Tool (T).


    Step 8:

    (Save in Illustrator EPS format) - Choose File > Save As.


    Step 9:

    Choose Illustrator EPS from the Format menu and Choose location where you want to save EPS file.

    Click on the Save button.


    Step 10:

    In the EPS Options dialog box, select the options you want, and click OK: Preview.

    Creates a low-resolution image to view in the destination application.
